Up to 62 percent of managers in the Middle East are having a negative effect on their workforce, which has a direct impact on reducing their bottom line, according to a new survey.
Findings from the study carried out by Hay Group show that just 16 percent of business leaders in the region are creating a high performance environment for the people they manage.
Of those surveyed 70 percent used the command and control style of leadership because they assumed their employees were unwilling to take on responsibility, the study said.
